Hey guys. Just wondering, how people hunt beavers ? Can't find any info in hunting refs , only in trapping regs found some. Does it mean that without trapping license I can't hunt them?

Hunting for beaver usually doesn't take much effort, getting access is always the issue

nowadays I heard there's this "Tinder" app that's pretty good

sorry but had to comment... lol

However, I've been told getting access to property is going to be the hardest part. Finding someone with beavers and then having them allow you to hunt them sounds like the biggest hurdle.

You need a trappers license.

This^^

even a trapper is restricted to private property/trap line they own or have permission to trap on

From a part-time trapper, he ran the spring flood in a tinny, the young ones were roaming around looking for territory. He said a 22 magnum was just right.

Theirs no need to get rid of beavers unless their chewing on some else's wood...hahaha
In seriousness though to be legit you need a trappers liscence or a nusance permit written out by a co, hope that helps,
