Not sure the details of your draw but in early september the bears feed pretty heavily on berries or fish depending on the location. Plus the days are longer giving you more time afield.

The Bears are hungry. The nights are cooler and all they think of is food.

They have to have 20,000 to 25,000 callories a day for the winter and they must gorge on berries and plants etc. & whatever they can get.

So look for food sources and you'll find the bears:-D
