Hey Everyone, I am a recent transplant to the Lower Mainland from Alberta and have been following the forum the last while. I've enjoyed the site and there appears to be a much higher level of camaraderie on here compared to the sister site in Alberta, which is nice. I just wanted to throw it out there that if anyone is looking to commence scouting for new areas this summer and do some hunting in the fall I would be a willing companion. I'd also like to grab some pints and talk hunting if anyone would be interested (hard to find a hunting crowd amongst the hipsters).

Ill try to add some photos of some of my adventures from Berta. Cheers guys.

Smack in the heart of Burnaby. I was attending BCIT, but will be done with that in a month and job prospects don't look to good in Alberta still. So i'll be sticking around.

Runs Leupold and drinks lucky, chaser10 be a straight shooter. Nice critters, you'll miss home by the looks of it! There are good opportunities here in bc though, good luck and enjoy.

Welcome to the site and the province, hopefully your employment prospects improve over here, provided we don't vote in the NDP like Alberta did. ;)

I can't discuss that subject, blood pressure hits unsafe levels.

Welcome to BC and HBC!

I agree with BHB....pictures are better than jokes!

Hope the job thing works out for you here and you get out of the LM.

You may miss 'Berta' in some ways but the opportunities and diversity of species here in BC aren't found in many other places in the world.

Welcome chaser some beauty critters there :) I see you like that high shoulder shot.. I gotta break my old behind the shoulder ways and start giving that a go if just works. Grab yourself a BC backroad mapbook or two they're the best bet for figuring out how to get out there and explore. I'm new to the LML but I'm starting to see there's some decent areas not too far out of the city hopefully you'll hook up with some hunters near you before long. Any questions just ask'm we're pretty good at that around here, or at least its good fodder for arguments. hahaha. cheers

Welcome and get out of the lower mainland as fast as you can lol

Both BC and Alberta have good hunting but different opurtunities. Have lived in Alberta in
the past and miss somethings in western Alberta.

At least we know you won't vote NDP lol
