I have a potential opportunity for a hunt up the coast this fall. Access will be by boat.
I'd like to bring my hunting rifle, .22, and shotgun....with ammo for all.
I've tried finding regs/restrictions about the amount/type of firearms allowed, as well as amount of ammo while on board. Figured it would be a Transport Canada thing? but can't seem to find anything applicable.

Private boat. Will be "inside" Canadian waters for the duration of the trip there and back.

Thanks for any info!

I can hear it now...........boats are more dangerous if they have too many bullets on board1

lol joking
boat, car, truck, plane, motorcycle, why would any one be different from the rest?

Lucky you for getting the trip, a coastal boat trip for spring bear is on my B list

Chartered vessels may have restrictions due to insurance policies but person pleasurecraft you just need to follow standard transportation regulations just like any other motor vehicle.

If you are sleeping in the boat you need to secure them per storage regulations.

so , unloaded

Just wait for the 'unloaded, gun secured, ammo stored separately and locked'
