Tried doing a search for stocking dates and the latest I could find was from 2015. Does anyone know if Mill Lake in Abbotsford has been stocked yet for 2017?

Thank you for the reply. Need to get out of the house and do some fishing. Just got a fresh new licence and need to christen it!

Thanks Paralyzer! It seems that not one of the 500 fish wanted anything to do with me today. Some of the regulars said it was good a couple weeks ago and turned kind of slow again. I think I'll wait until it warms up for a few days before my next attempt.

Went out to green timbers tonight with the same results, nothing biting for no one it looked like/sounded like!

Drift/slow troll a "booby" fly on a sinking fly line. It will out fish hardware.

Thanks for the tip on the booby fly steel_ram. I've been meaning to break out the fly gear once again and I think I will next time.

Red_Mist thanks for the link to the stocking report. That was exactly what I was looking for!

Has been slow , mostly due to the poor weather. Took the kids out to mill lake a few days after the stocking ... not a sniff . Did see a few surface. Hopefully some good stable weather will get them biting.

Yes very slow for sure compared to last few seasons. Been out 4 times this April and only had one bite that I missed today. Hopefully some better weather will get the bite on soon!
