I don't hunt on a motorbike, but I'm a rider & use it to scout areas for ungulates in the fall. There was a thread on bikes for hunting a while back.

I ride a DR650 and have always thought it would be cool to do some small game hunting from the bike.

I'm afraid none of my motorcycles are well-suited for hunting, although at least one of them has seen minor gravel road action.

Come hunting season, it starts to get pretty cold high up, and deer don't make the best passengers. Bike and hikes are fun, though.

Hey thanks for the offer, but 7-16 is a bit far for me, I want to stick to region 2 or west part of 3. An xl175 sounds like a perfect scouting vehicle, but I'm not sure I would want to come across a grizz on one.

Need to get the old R80 back on the road after dropping it.... a bigger, heavier beast, but great for scouting FSRs.
