EAST side Stave Lake

New to the area and my son wanted to go for his first spring black bear hunt. Was up on the East side of Stave and wanted to know if its worth trying? Thanks for the help

There are bears in that area but the warmer and nicer it becomes the harder it will be to find a spot to yourself. If you go up there on a warm sunny day you will see what I am talking about.I think that is almost the last place that I would go to look for a bear. PM me if you want some much better places to go close to there.

Harrison west or east is better along with the wack imo I have shot a few out of east stave, right before Salisbury lake on the right is good or northeast farther up from Salisbury more towards stave theirs some cut locks in their, weekdays are your friend though
