Old version Hunting License

It's still available ... just picked up mine with a blackbear tag..good to go for April 1st.. just to let you know at this time this is the only place to get them... for the ones that decide to do it online... No paper license will be issued !! Only the tags will be paper... and will be mailed to you !.... so just a heads up to those that plan on getting out April 1st..

not mentioning it in the first post..

I have the booklet and old tags for bear as well...WSS even offered to sell me any other tags I wanted before the new system goes online

Lots of vendors have the booklets, any vendor that doesn't have any just didn't order any for the beginning of the season. They are available.
Buy all your hunting tags early or wait till the online system comes out if you can.

Gone fishing on the island has them. Picked one up last weekend, Cabelas didnt have them

I am sure this will be the last year for the booklets.. and nice to
see others posting up where the licenses are available... in talks with the Front counter people... the only thing we will need to carry while hunting once the online licenses come into
full force is the hunting tag for the species your hunting... If stopped by a CO.. they will
ask for your hunter number... and be able to do a
profile check on you... also knowing if you did purchase license...if your out hunting small game.. you will not have any paper trail... species tag.... I think it should/will be a good thing .... down the road.

i got my booklet with deer bear and cougar tag, i dont want anything to do with the new system till next year.lol, picked mine up at gone fishing in Courtenay on the island

Grabbed one along with a BB tag at cabelas in Abbotsford this morning,wanted mule deer and WT tags as well but they were out.

Good to know...I wonder if they will also sell griz tags, or will I have to do that online...I logged in online, I never saw the option to buy my hunting licence, only apply for LEH it said...

I got the old paper booklet and bear tag today. I know it gives wholesale staff hand cramps, but I'll sure miss the paper books. As well, when I tried the online system it was pooped. Onwards and upwards I suppose.
