Hey now don't you touch those turkeys. I have my name on them since Dec-Jan, those buggers have been roosting beside my place for a couple months now. I know where it is because I know those mountains in the background lol, I look out to that view out my front windows.

Gotta say... I see the monster flocks all of the time this time of year but once the season opens they have usually split into much smaller flocks and are harder to locate once the season opens... sort of like whitetail and elk..

They are good eating if you cook them right. If you cook them like a butterfly you will hate it...

Coming for a turkey hunt April 21 weekend near Kimberley with some newbie friends. If anyone wants to link up and show us some tips we would appreciate it. Thanks!

How do ya cook butterflies? Is there a trick to keeping the wings from scorching?

I carry my movie camera at all times and when a person does not get rewarded on finding sheds you might get rewarded with filming the likes of these turkeys
filming wildlife is one of my top hobbies..

Road trip to Waynes! :)

Turkey Season in BC is fixin' to be on like Donkey Kong! I'm going in. Yet not for awhile... Looks like the Turkeys have been flocked up late due to the huge EK snowpack this year.

Hey, stop by for a coffee in the EK...

Almost Turkey Day!

I'm a no closed season/NBL on Coyote and Wolves kinda guy for at least some of the EK (definitely 4-20).
