Moose leh/open season question

So I think I may have just confused myself by thinking too much but here goes

if 3 of us apply for leh moose in interior, and draw our two tags for October season

but we are going to northern region where it's open season during sept

you each have one moose tag weather cancelled in an open season or on an leh matters not....but only two of you can tag out on LEH mooose.

theoretically you could each tag a bull in the open season and throw the LEH in the trash.
