Just a post for some pics I took a couple weeks back.
Dont ask where I took them because I wont tell you. Obviously you can deduce from their size and their proximinity to myself that they are in a completly closed area. No these are not Clinton or Kamloops Lake rams.

Hope you enjoy the crankers!

I've always wondered about that too - does anyone know the answer? You don't see other animals packing theirs around like that. Or is it just a trait of that species? Honest dumb question!

No, not Kamloops lake band. There are some crankers there as well. A couple of the rams in those pics would likely be within the top 5 in BC book.

Bruin what region did you take those deer pics in? 3?

They arent huntable, and I guarantee several people on here have looked at the same rams. The secrecy only because I didnt find them. A more experienced friend who is kinda teaching me the sheep ropes showed me them, and just asked me not to say, but to go nuts showin pics.

So hence I didnt tell you all to go look for em... but yes Blake, Im not killer at scoring sheep on their feet at all, but these friends figure one or two in this band may be with the tops of boone and crockett. unfortunatly theyll die of old age.

Now, finding their skulls after they die, and with the legal changes being able to keep them - would be worth it :wink:
