Anyone on here ever rent their horses? Was wondering how many horses you get and what the delivery charge to trail head be?
How was the experience? Were you worried about the horses at night? Any info appreciated.:razz:

We used them a few years back, worked out good for us and we had never used horses before. I think the price depends on how far he has to bring them and how many you need. The average is around $900 a person, gets you 3 horses, 1 to ride 2 for your gear. They are alot of work especially if your not a horse guy , getting them ready each morning isn't always easy. As long as they have food and water they won't go anywhere at night, if they don't they will go find it.

Stan offers a one week course in packing and handling horses if anyone needs some experience before renting his horses. Very reasonable cost and a good man to deal with. I took his course a couple of years ago.
