Rain for me, I don't have to shovel it !
Truth be known, I'm a sunshine guy grew up in deserts of southern Saskatchewan.
Back there rainfall is slim to nil, Abbotsford has more rain in one day than we used to get in a year !
Why, it was so dry when I was a kid my idea of a pet was a two-hump camel.....

Rain, for the simple fact that driving in the city becomes a nightmare in the snow.

Obviously rain if you have to commute in the lower mainland....

I voted snow, love 4 season weather,

as long as you have the toys to deal with it!

Ok. So I posted the poll before heading for the last hour to shovel the driveway. I would say that was probably the fifth time since Saturday...but I still voted for snow.

Winter camping is one of my favourite seasonal activities next to maybe high mountain fall - hunting season - with snow, of course.

Really depends on your surroundings. When I lived in Vancouver, the rain was unbearable. Actually it wasn't so much the rain as the constancy of it. Up here in the Cariboo we see snow, then days or weeks of bright sunshine. Much better for one's outlook I find. But then I don't have to drive anywhere with 10,000 other people.

Hate hunting in the rain but most of all....I can't ride my sled in the rain.

Snow is the best, its like starting with a clean slate every 15 min if the snow is coming down heavy. Early morning hunt after an evening of snow is ultimate, as the animals never move to far and if you find the tracks your having fun.

I like the snow but not to much if there is to much of the white stuff the game animals will suffer big time and even die..

^^ yup, let's manage predators by bringing ungulate populations down. So those that are left all f--kin die in a hard winter.

I think the poll is one of perspective. Do I like rain or snow if I'm going sking? Do I like rain or snow if I live in the LML. It's relative.

From Oct.31 to Dec.10, I'd say snow. Any other time of year I'd go with rain. Since this is a hunting forum my vote goes to snow :D

I have a love hate relationship with rain. Great for hunting blacktails but too much when I'm not hunting sucks. Although in Victoria we get less rain than Vancouver so it's not all bad. I like snow, just hate the way other people drive in it.

Rain: the snow sends the deer straight to the private land

I just want a normal winter again. It's looking like I should load my sled up and head to chilliwack if I want to ride without heading to the mountains.... No snow in Prince George, two feet in chilliwack, yeesh....

Snow.
It looks prettier than rain, rain just makes everything soggy. Rain is rain, rain is wet, wet sucks. No sports that I can think of that are enhanced by failing rain, but snow on the other hand.....

Snow can be wet, but right now it is nice and dry. I'm working in it. Just dress for the temps, and I come home dry instead of soggy. Love tracks in the snow while hunting.

Its 9:10 PM and pouring rain outside, this after a good inch or more of snow in the afternoon.
Going to be fun outdoors tomorrow as the forecast is for 47mm of rain overnight here in Abby.
It will make for a real mess combined with the tons of snow we have.

Snow, but rain hasn't stopped me yet. Rain is a north coast fact of life.
