There was a Heinz Leiber that made awesome knives near Hudson Hope. He passed away years ago.

That's who I was thinking of ......
I have one of his knives ..... gift from a friend 30 yrs. ago.
Too nice to use .... in the drawer all that time.

Too nice to use ? makes a knife pointless.
I received a Heinz Leiber knife from my wife, for my 50th Birthday {engraved bolster by Vladimir Vancura also passed away}. It gets used as a knife is intended.
The knife was used to dress out another fine Saskatchewan Whitetail this past October.

I have a knife made in Mackenzie by "Nero". I've had it for about 30 years and don't know much about it except it's a great knife.

As noted in my post ...... it was a gift.
It isn't the type or style of the knives I use in the field ..... it's not a 'comfortable' knife for me.
