Nothing official yet, but it was Urs's plane. Sounda like the plane made it up into the air, bumped back down, then tried to turn out towards the lake. It crashed into the Creek right at the end of the lake. Many injured, and all soaked with fuel. The only thing left is a piece of the tail, EVERYTHING else is in pieces, or melted. A friend that was up there said that the only way to tell that it was a plane was to look at the small piece of tail. One dead, and they think that there was someone left in the plane. One young lady with a small boy, pretty banged up and bloody, but looked like they were alright.
Sad Day for sure.
Urs was not on the plane, he was out with some fishermen at Maxhamish Lake at the time.

I have heard some talk that something like this will put Urs out of buisness, Lawsuits and stuff. I know that some of you have plans with this company, I will post updates if I get any more.

That's too bad - hate to hear about that stuff.

Just heard about it on the radio - sounds like it was the twin otter.

It was his Twin Otter,
Sounds like 2 people never made it.

I heard about it shortly after it crashed. Not a pleasant thing to go through for those involved.

Sad news for sure.
His Twin Otter was used to ferry customers to and from the lodge. Used to have a sched from Vanc. but not the last couple of years. Maybe Calgary or Edmonton till now ?

I think someone is tying to pull a fast one.
Maybe eliminate some competition?
