Pretty sure no matter what device you use, for the most part unless you resize and put your pics into the gallery you're going to have them hosted somewhere else be it PBucket, Facebook or some other third party.
For what it's worth I did try Imgur yesterday and it seemed pretty straightforward. Uploaded and before saving anywhere if you click on the image it says something like "links" on it and you can copy the IMG link and then close it out. It was just for a screenshot of an error I was getting on here, not sure I'd want to put personal type pictures up there for all to see though.

doesn't seem like my issue is getting them into my gallery being that bonz has successfully pulled them from there to this thread. For some reason I'm unable to do that myself
i think the issue is at the pc end, not forum software. yours are already in the albums on here, diff issue than i had earlier. mine were just to big to even get in our albums. yours work for me. so has to be something at your end
anyone else here run mac and try this?

3 restart ways
Press the power button (or press Control+Eject) and, when a dialog box appears, click the Restart button.
Choose the Apple key and then click Restart.
Press Control+Command+Eject (or Control+Command+Power button).
Pressing the Control+Command+Eject/Power button is the most reliable way to restart a Mac because it doesn’t rely on the Mac OS X operating system.
