7-20a anterless hunt accommodation

Happy New year everyone! Four of us are heading north at the end of January for a week to try and harvest our cow elk. None of us have done this hunt before and we're wondering where a good place to stay might be? It's such a vast area and not sure which city or town we should be looking for accommodation in? Any advice on this or any other tips that would help us out would be greatly appreciated!

I know there has been a few guys out the groundbirch way , they have been havin some luck . Either chetwynd or dawson for hotels pretty much have way between . Pm me ill try and help out kid has draw also .

Depending on where you plan to hunt in this `vast`area, it could be Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, Chetwynd or Hudson`s Hope. All have good accommodation...

I drove to FSJ early Friday morning. Dawn broke right as I got to the pine river along Hwy 97. Nothing I could see along the Hwy or the Braden cut off to FSJ. Doesn't mean much though, just nothing in the middle of the fields or crossing the Hwy in front of me.

Yes those northern women can be like untamed beast sabotaging your hunting camp then offering you a warm place to stay..

I havent heard from stevie hope hes having fun... most likely underdressed lol.
