Goose luck today ???

Evening and HNY . Went out this morning with my labs for a walk off of neaves rd and saw a pretty nice looking decoy setup of maybe 25 canada's . Hunters were dressed in all white and appeared to be freezing their asses off .:-o . Made me smile and was green with envy at the same time . If you post here , how was your day ?

Not me, but I've been in that area on the last two Thursdays and at daybreak flocks of geese lift off from the Coquitlam side of the river and fly somewhere to the east. Sure wish I knew where!

Flocks coming off the cp rail land in Poco and very likely going over to widgeon creek or the pitt lake . In the past you could pretty much count on a daily fly over . My first goose years back was loaded with grain from the railcars and was a nice fat bird . Made for some nice jerky . I have not been out for waterfowl for a few years but will start again soon . Good luck to everyone fortunate enough to get out .
