My kids - they live in Ontario (I fought the war but lost ...). They are coming out west on the 3oth of December for a week and they want to go hunting with me over the holidays. Must have been my good fortune and good luck - I have an LEH draw. Was thinking of hunting around Chetwynd or anywhere up there. Does anyone have any good leads. As I understand there is not a lot of snow and could be tough to find elk parked on farmers fields.

Thanks in advance.

Call the local CO. We're heading up mid January.

The local co is not much help, as for snow not much here at all and a lot of wind lately. The elk are timbered up but are starting to move around. If it's cold they should be moving.

Try down towards the peace and Pine confluence. Hunt the hills and aspen timber. Usually pretty good this time of year. During open season they get hit hard there but are a little more lax at this this time. PM sent with some info also. Good luck
