Maybe some of you can help me, I'm thinking about a new bow for 3-D and hunting [ I'm new at that too]. I'm thinking of a Browning Myst or maybe the next 1 up in quality or maybe an Alpine Silverado, any ideas? My self imposed dollar limit is around $ 600-650 thanks in advance, Oh yeah what I'm shooting now is an Oregon bow 64#, 30" draw and Beman 300 arrrows with 125 gr. bullet points and I use a 5 pin Tru-glo Extreme sight thanks again

Ditto to what pupper says.....

Best bow I have owned. Very smooth, very quiet, and plenty fast for hunting (or anything).

Thanks for your quick replies, I e-mailed Bow tech/Diamond for a supplier. I'll let you know how it turns out. Oh and by the way, on my search for a Kodiak bow , I've given up , their largest retail outlet { Hunter's Friend } can't get hold of them either.

http://www.huntersfriend.com/ they have an 800 number at the top of the page.

I went through the same rigmarole when I bought mine last year. No dealers in the area/on the island.

I ended up buying mine through Bowhunters Superstore - they had the best price and they were clearing out the '06 models. Check them out at
1-800-745-4296 or at http://www.bowhunterssuperstore.com/

Here are some Canadian retailers as well

http://www.bow-shop.com/ looks interesting.

http://www.northprosports.com/ I've used these guys - great service.

I also have heard and read very good reports about the Martin Bengal bow $399 US. Fast, forgiving, and easy to handle. Probably the top selling inexpensive bow this year.

I just bought my wife a Diamond Edge compound bow, very sweet bow for the price range, and it comes with a full setup package, buy some arrows and go shooting.

Best price I found on it was once again Omineca Source for Sports, their site can be found at http://www.ominecasourceforsports.com . I don't know if I'm allowed to say the pricing here (bowtech is sticky with listing their price online) but needless to say the bow was $30 - $70 cheaper than anywhere else (depending on the store I asked of course).

Looking through their webpage I see that they don't have any Diamond bows on the page, but a phone call sure wouldn't hurt ;) .

Their contact info. (http://www.ominecasourceforsports.com/component/option,com_contact/task,view/contact_id,1/Itemid,3/)

I'm shooting an Alpine Silverado, its a great bow, I am very happy with it, its very fast, and easy on the hands and ears. Alpine may not be the best known company out there but their products are excellent.

If you have any questions about the bow just ask and I'll answer.
