Wished I knew more about the area. I did see rams on Crater Mtn years ago when on a hike.

Hey BCrams. i get a good kick out of the eco hikers when i run into them out hunting.its like when you pass them on a trail they have on there shit eating grins and they wont even say hi to ya.i just smile and keep truckin.

I don't have the regs in front of me but are you going in to Snowy Mtn area or up at Crater Mtn.
I have hunted a week in Snowy about 3 years ago.

I had the tag 2 years ago but got snowed out , 3 feet of snow , couldn't barely move , i geuss thats why they call it snowy mountain . Pissed me off cause i did some good scouting in there . When you go you will have to post us how you did and tell me if all the bucks were only 3 points , i think the gene pool is a little out of wack , there are rams to be shot though .

Hunted Crater Mtn about 4 yrs back, Saw legal Rams but lots of other hunters. You need to go deep & be selective if you want a thumper, But they are there.
