Peace area rut?

Are we in high rut up here right now? Seemed to just be getting cold so thought might be late.

Or is it starting to get into post-rut?

Saw a few bucks moving across fields in the middle of the day to the south of FSJ. That was on the 14th.

I would think post rut now. A few does that didn't get it the first time will come back into heat for a few days. Deer will probably be concentrating on food sources before winter hits. It's coming!

Are we talking whitetails or mulies? If it's WT I think we are now in the "post-rut". As for mulies, I think they are just starting.
