Wish I had a better story for this guy, I am off work for this week to chase whitetail with my kids my dad and step dad. So far things have been very slow on the doe sightings however we have spotted a couple very respectable bucks that managed to give us the slip. Today my plan was to start off hiking timber and that's what I did with only two does spotted . Afterward I made my way into the river bottom wich was full of sign yet yielded zero sightings. After a late lunch of spam samiches my step dad and I drove to a different area and set off on foot again more to check out sign we walked a couple miles and we were encouraged by what we found. With only two hours of legal light remaining we decided to drive a few spur roads and after only a few minutes I spotted a doe not fifty yards in some thick thick bush , I jumped out to check it out and quickly realized she was defiantly in love but where was he? Few steps to the rite and there he was . Up with the 7mag bang flop. I couldn't be happier with this deer it just seems so strang that all that foot work and this is how it unfolded.
