Has Anyone hunted up near the Nine mile ridge area or in the Yalacom Valley , any big bucks seen there or sheep?

Sheep herd up there isn't doing too great.

pretty tough finding a ram up in that area now.

I always thought the Nine Mile or Relay country would make a cool Trophy Mule Deer LEH unit...

What is the reason for the die off? Was it sickness from an over populated herd?

What about the mule deer? How are they surviving?

I believe it was lungworm, but coudl be mistaken.

Lung worm most likely, rumored to be blue tongue, but that was never official.

Although I have no idea where the heck Yalacom is, I know that most all Calli herds got hit with lung worm bad.

I am sure some of the more experienced sheep nuts here on the forum could tell you estimated die offs in the varying areas of sheep habitat.
