2016 region 3 success

[Silent But Deadly]

After a successful trip in 2014 http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/showthread.php?112282-My-2014-black-bear-and-mule-deer my buddy and I decided to try our luck again this year.in the same area. Over the course of three days we were able to see 7-4 pointers, 2 spike bucks and 21 does. On Sat Nov 12 I took my 4 point early in the morning. We quickly quartered him up and hung him up in a tree and made our way back out.

We must have been doing something right because that afternoon my buddy was successful in getting his deer.

I've been hunting since 1968 and have never shot a mule deer like either one. In fact I have only ever seen two like that in my life. One out of season in the summer and another running off with does about 600 metres away.
