Black powder tannery did a deer hide for me last year. They only do 'fur on', and it takes a few months. Nice work though, and I enjoyed meeting Ken.

This year I offered to gift my deer hide to the Kwikwitlem First Nation, they were happy to use it for their cultural programming.

Will they just do the tanning or only if you're having it mounted?

They'll do the tanning alone (so you can use the hide as a rug or a throw). Cost around $150
