Just pre-rut stuff, like young bucks sparring, going on in region 3. Not much interest in does yet.

Seen a couple small bucks chasing does, 1 good buck with his nose to the ground, lots of does by themselves and helped an old fella load a 4 point in his truck today and he said the buck came out of the trees with his nose to the ground. So I would say very early stages of the rut as of today in the WK.

Its going heavy here. Today I saw about 25 does and 6 bucks all but one chasing does hard. New hunter I had with me took a small four point right from behind the doe....

I've ignored white tails for a few weeks as I was concentrating on moose and mulie. I plan on going out tomorrow to my blinds and checking on my cams. When I was last out there I saw a couple of rubs. I suspect early rut activity to be taking place.

Thursday I took a sick day and went to 3-19. Saw rubs and some lone does. Rut is getting started soon IMHO.

Been full on for the last week, witness two mature buck fights, action is picking up on cam, bucks starting to cruise from doe to doe.

I would agree, suspicious activity in region 8 for just as long...

Good to hear! We are off on a 10 day WT trip today, hoping to see them chasing

Hitting it bang on I'd say, finally cooled off and bigger bucks should have run the dinks' off the does by now.
Good luck, I'm a bit envious!

I rattled and called this buck in last Sunday. He was in rut.

Seen 24 Does and 4 Bucks on Nov-18th, all but one doe and one buck were by themselves, the one Buck with the Doe I ended up shooting. He will go in the 140's but is only a 3.5 year old, small bodied deer, lots of fat on him and no stink to him.
