Frenchbar,
I saw a couple more bucks and a couple does. I can't seem to take pics through the spotter with the new camera. The other bucks were just dinks, so it don't matter. I just went out for a solo overnighter, just needed to get above treeline. I've been waiting all year for the snow to be gone. Antlers still are balled up. A lot of growing yet to do.

Last couple hours of light. One of the 4 came out really late. Was pretty much 10 pm when I glassed him. Gotta love the long light of July. :)

dana

I only pack the tools needed for a highcountry tuneup in the fall. But...with the new wolf season season dates starting Aug 1, I may just start packin a tool or two in another month. ;)

Great photo's guys, not sure about the picture of the flower, you trying to get in touch with your feminine side?

That's an fawn lily. First flower to come up after the snow goes. If you are like me, and wait all year to be above timberline again, seeing that flower is a wonderful sight.

Steve, the critter count was not very good this time...
Did trip over a brown self standing moose paddle on the hike in though... Dads tag is for the first week in September

Definitely a hybrid between a mouse and a rat - probably only live in the Monashees too.
