Today I was up in the Cache Creek area and we spotted three bucks non shooters none of them with does and we spotted 44 does today and not 1 buck with them.

No I did not see sign of the big show today. Warm and very windy. Muley hunting in the tree where there was ample sign of the pre rut 10 days ago. Could be the big show and the bucks are holding their doe in their secret spot?

Only four point I found was a cougar kill. Piss off

Should be coming into it right about now. Next couple weeks should be prime.

Up high in the southern parts of 3-13 and 15*c saw one chicken and that was on the road after we humped our assess through some thick cover. Didn't see a damn thing

Saw some good rut activity 2 weeks ago, does marking, bucks gathering does, and a couple bucks hot on the trail of some hot does

Saw one buck today just north of Kamloops. With 3 does and a big swollen neck. Raking brush on two different occasions. Wasn't trailing any of the does but hanging close.

Ruts cancelled. Ungulates are on strike in protest of foreign trophy hunting. In solidarity, none of the four points are showing their faces in daylight.

I shot a 4 pt Monday morning in Region 8. He bred the doe 3 times before I got a chance at him. There were also 4 other bucks with him, 1 was a pig of a 3 pt that I really would have rather shot.

Was out in 3-32 all week and didn't see a single buck with does. Shot a nice 4 point and he wasn't stinky or swollen or with does. All the bucks we seen were solo.

Just back from 3-27. I'm already tagged out so I wasn't really hunting, but I did go for a walk to place a cam and saw does, but no bucks.

In 3-39, the rut makes deer invisible. Time to head home ;)

bucks rut the same time every year, just because you dont see big bucks running down every road doesnt mean the rut isnt happening!

Some crankers hitting the ground daily;)
In my short 10 day md experience this year if they're not with a doe or 7, go find another doe or 20. One of em will be hot, with a buck not leaving her/them for nothing.

Nice 4 pt taken yesterday, with another 4 pt???? Must be gay, swinging dicks instead of chasing puddy tang!

Oh yeah ruts over for sure then, just ask sr80 about his 'post rut' experience HA.
I'm not a mulie hunter, but to me a couple 4 points out in broad daylight during hunting season? Seems like they're dumb dumb to me...

Maybe next year when you are done fishing dont post a freezer full of fish when you never made it home with your 2 days possession limit  Rut on!

Great csi work numbnuts HA. Good thing I give Saint Jeans plenty of business, which correct me if I'm wrong, once at a commercial processor/cannery is no longer considered in your possession?
After that comment I hope you have a safe and successful hunt, cause I may be a smartass but I'm not an asshole;)

To get back on track, here's one from nov.16. Bit of a razorback that had been on the run for awhile I suspect! But maybe he's just an exercise freak;)

See above.

This question comes up every year starting in early October and the answer is as stated above.

Research in the Kamloops area indicates that does drop fawns in the Spring corresponding to a breeding time peaking around Remembrance day.

i just came back from a weeks hunt in region 3. and the bucks were on the move all day where we were lots and lots of small bucks 2&3's and a 4 pt or 2 was seen everyday and a few harvested by members of our camp. they can post pics at their leisure if they want. weather was warmer than usual and not much for snow but if you got of the road and hit the timbered ridges plenty of deer were seen chasing or with does
