Well after 7 years of hunting and an absolute heart wrenching m.i.a. (Shot and Couldn't find after 3days of searching) cranker buck, I finally shot recovered and celebrated my first 4 point muley!!

me and a buddy who has a 8-8 Bull draw headed out for the mighty search for a bull moose in an area I know holds moose. After a morning of checking out cut blocks I said to my buddy let's go down this road that I shot my first ever buck on some 7 years back, it's gotta still have some luck left in it. About 5km down the road a cow moose runs out in front of our truck just after we saw some fresh bull tracks on the road. Soon after we saw the cow we came accross a fella on an quad and stopped for a chat. That nice fella asked if we had a Bull draw and informed us of a nice 3x3 that was at the bottom end of the next cut block down. Naturally we said thanx and headed there asap, in route we ran into another truck with a couple young fellas who informed us of the same bull and also let us know that bull has been spotted in the area 3 mornings in a row. Well what do you know we get to the cut and.........no bull lol. We got out and grabbed our packs and went for a nice little look about only to find a ton of fresh bull and buck track. we decided to pull out and head back to that cut the next morning.

Morning came and we found our selfs back at that cut for first light. We walked down the same old skidder trail and each picked a knob to perch up on to wait and hope. Not 2 min into my wait I hear a buck grunt and a little 2x2 muley trotting my way up the little draw. I think to myself and get mad "why always the phucking 2 points". I could see another deer (a doe) about a 100yards down towards the tree line and thought to myself where's the big boy hanging with that hot little doe??
Just as I finished thinking out comes big boy, head down! Game On!

all I could see was rack and at the angle he was at it was tough to count four but I did,BOOM First shot he bucks and runs towards doe and stops, BOOM Second shot starts trotting back up cut, and all this time I might mention that stupid 2 points is 15yards in front of me watching me shoot at the arsehole that I'm assuming just chased him away from his girlfriend lol, BOOM Third shot while he's on the move and he drops like a sack of hammers!
