There is a web site that keeps track of the conditions of the Hurley FSR... Not sure I can post a link but a quick GOOGLE of I survived the hurley should find it for you... There is a washout North of Pemberton on Pemberton Meadows rd which is the access to Hurley from Pemberton. Dunno if the road is just flooded or if it actually washed out entirely.

Man, this rain just isn't stopping. It isn't surprising that I can't recall such a wet fall, apparently we are breaking records all over the place.

Warm and rainy, not my favourite hunting weather.

I'd like to further sum this up. It sux ass!
Was thinking of hitting some white tail spots next week and checking the weather.. overnight lows well above freezing for the next week :(
Sounds like the mid and north island has been just hammered the last few days and as we see the Coast mountains.

I remember camping up out and waking up to a foot of fresh snow six years ago up the Hurley. It was funny because my non-hunting buddy was along for the ride and was sleeping outside in a bivvy sack. It was just a lump of snow with him underneath.

I remember the date exactly 'cause I called home and Mrs. said she'd been knocked down on her bike by a motorist.

I was just up there for 4 days. Came back on Monday night. Good thing I guess.
