Man is it warm out today, 21C.

Almost certain this is a 30C difference from last year when I was clanking the feet together trying to get any feeling back into them. Of course this was in the bush sitting in the snow, but still I was not too much higher up in elevation than I am now.

Well I am not going to waste a "call in sick" day tomorrow to go hunting at these temperatures.

I was out Sunday. 800ft elevation. Was watching a hummingbird. This weather sucks. We need snow.

Warm and wet here in region 6 can't even work till it freezes. Been doing nothing but killing waterfowl or laying on the coach. I think I may pick up the muzzleloader and look for a deer next

wish deer numbers were higher here

A friend was complaining that he was out today and saw no moose. I was like, "I can understand your frustration... why wouldn't they be out sunning themselves in their black, thick winter coats which are better suited for -20C than for +20C ?"

I think was pretty damn warm a year ago today. I was out hunting/hiking with my daughter and it was similar to today....maybe a degree or two warmer this year.

Have to disagree here, SSS. I shot a buck a year ago today at lower elevation in R8 and it was nowhere near this nice.

I Might have been off by one day. The last Sunday of Muley rifle season was beautiful! The day before was cold and blustery. Super windy!

I had two weeks off to do some deer hunting in Southern Alberta. Had to cut it short after 4 days to get some meat home to process and a head to the Taxidermist. 22 degrees on Saturday south of Medicine Hat.

5 degrees above record highs here in Williams Lake yesterday. The good new,,,, local lakes will be late icing up, which in turn may limit the amount of winter kill on some lakes.... which will mean many lakes with fish pushing 6-8 pounds next year.

I can wait to go ice fishing if it means no winter kill.

I got my deer earlier when it was colder, so no panic there.

Just a pineapple - happens all the time. But 20 degree Kamloops weather 2nd week in November is pretty intense temp wise. Been in a T-shirt last few days, driving with the windows open.

We'll get a cold snap before November's through I'm sure.
