Went out on Friday to one of my favorite areas for deer.
I will be starting a new job on the 15th out of town so my hunting season this year is gonna consist of about three days.
Took a brand newby out with me that was just getting into guns and hunting and has never had experiences with these before.

Well didn't see too many deer and even let him take a poke at a small whitetail buck that we saw but to no avail and I think the buck fever got to him a little.
I however dropped a small mulie buck and a nice mature dry whitetail doe so I am quite happy to have meat in the freezer.
Saw a couple larger boys but with the short season for me and needing to fill the freezer I decided on the easier play and went for a young buck.
Besides cant eat antlers and I already have a cranker on the wall from three years ago.
