I have seen elk sign in Chilliwack Valley so no reason they wouldn't be around abby

In sept of 2013 , there was two bulls for probably a week that hung around kanaka creek near the lougheed highway and haney bypass . Co worker video'd them as they crossed under the kanaka bridge on 240th . Was nice to see and very likely Upper Pitt\stave animals seeking new range . Our sons friends saw some mt biking up on 287th trails last year . they are around for sure .

How cool would that be for a leh for around here for elk....was a moose sighting by silver Lake couple days back for a friend of the family.

I was shown a pic of a nice bull elk from Rosedale last fall. Not 1 km from the jr high school.
I think he was lost....

He looks happy with the cows. Kinda like a guy that's been in the bush for a few months. You standards go way down!

There was a four point just west of Mission a few years ago. I had some pictures of it. A few weeks later there was one on the Fraser Hiway and Mt Lemon. A good book to read is , The Heart Of The Valley. It talks about elk around here and other interesting facts.

I'm gonna pick that up....love hearing about this areas history when it comes to game
