Well I am not surprised the White Sturgeon at the New Bass Pro shop is dead, if you read the response for BPS they say no one cares more for the fish in their tank them them!
I am not an expert but I think this was probably expected?

Reading the story it sounds like the sturgeon was sick before ever being introduced to the tank.

My understanding was it was a "farmed" sturgeon.....not a "wild" one.

Last time I was there they were raising their sturgeon in a quanset with minimal lighting. I'm guessing the move to a tank with all sorts of commotion, different water quality, and higher light levels was too much stress

Yup....from a farm around Sechelt or that neck of the woods.
