whitetails near Kimberly

Hoping to get to the East Kootenays for an overnighter next weekend looking for a Whitey. How's things looking out that way these days? Would Kimberly be a good area or would my odds be better moving further towards Yahk/Creston area?

Lots of whitetail up lumberton rd. If you are looking for a place to camp check out Noke Creek campground. They host the ATV rally each season and there are a ton of deer around.
