2016 Season So Far.

Well its been a great hunting season so far. Went stone sheep hunting with my daughter and came close to a shooting opportunity but the wind screwed us up. Then went to Invermere for Bighorn and came close on that one also before someone else shot the ram from under us (im still not sure that ram was legal, arggg.) After that we headed home to hunt elk and man this was a banner year for calling, and sheer numbers of elk we encountered.

My buddy got a nice bull the first week.

Then I got mine a few days later with my bow.

Then my son got his a few days after that.

This weekend my wife got hers.

My daughter still has a bison draw to go through. Lots of meat this year and probably a good thing as I think this winter is gonna be hard on the animals and next hunting season may be alot different.
