Doe 5-02D

I have been lucky enough to draw a doe for 5-02D for this month. I have spent a decent amount of time hunting the southern section of this zone for spring bears but have never hunted the area for deer. Does anybody have any insight on hunting this area for deer? My brother went for a drive one evening a few days ago and saw a few does on the beaver valley logging road. It appears this road is the boundary and we were unsure about the legality of shooting something on the boundary. Is there a certain distance you need to be away from it?

had a moose draw there last year. saw lots of deer on private property...very few off of it but then again we were really only looking for moose

Nyland Lake, been 8 years since I've been there but we seen a few
