Hey I've had a tough time finding out all the rules for quading while hunting. I understand all of them except the one with how many people are allowed on a quad. I have my dad's 600 brute force which is technically a 1 seater. Can I run two people on the quad? Will I get a fine if I do? Can someone send me a link? I figured a lot of hbcers know all about the proper rules.

Check your Dads liability insurance to ensure you are covered riding it.
Most liability insurance reads. 1 seater quad, only 1 rider.

If it comes from the manufacturer designed to carry two then it is ok. If not then its a one seater.

Thanks guys. I think we will probably just sell the quad now cause we can't use it with 2 people.

No , you can use it all you want and any way you want. Weigh the risk.

Just registered my quad today... that was a PITA, but its over with. You just have to find a notary open on Saturday!

You can do the affidavit at any Service BC location for about $18.

Search the site for the answers. This topic has been flogged to death here last year.

Once you fill it out and pay the cash it really does feel like a waste of money for this step. The notary didn't even read my statement; signed, stamped, and charged $30. Just silly....
