My son is 8 years old and is very keen to come hunting with me. I read in the regs they must be 10 to hunt. Is my son able to come with me to spectate/learn as long as he is not holding a gun or shooting the animals? I tried a couple of sources including the government and no one was able to give me a clear answer. Anyone know?

Yes you are very much allowed to take him with you. Always fun having kids there. I've taken 2 deer now with mine tagging along. Good luck.

Never leave the little guy at home if he wants to tag along. Let him learn where food really comes from.

Please!!! Take him hunting. My sons first hunting trip was in a car seat, and ever since I've had no better partner. What a great teaching/learning opportunity

I take my son and daughter I swear they are lucky..

I bought my kids little rascals for 200 bucks they don't carry ammo but they feel they are part of the game..
