Damn big house cat. I would check and see if it has a collar and a tag, maybe even check and see if it has an ear tattoo....

It's the size of a Savannah cat, but the colour is wrong...and I don't see someone letting a $1000+ cat roam free.

Do you think a cougar could or would breed with a Bobcat?

I actually was thinking is this some sort of hybrid?

Bobcat would be my guess

I was thinking the same unless it's some sort of weird hybrid...

I think it's a feral cat. I came across one near Nelson about 3 years ago. I took a number of pictures of it. Medium sized for a wild cat. Huge for a house cat. Definitely a predator. I showed the pics around and feral cat was the consensus. Could be a house cat mated with a cougar. That's what I thought.

interesting pic, first guess is bobcat but I could see the potential for some sort of hybrid

there is a researcher that is asking for pics and location of bobcats and lynx in BC....might be interesting to get his thoughts

Face is bobcat, black tipped tail with white underside is bobcat, black spots on the inner legs is bobcat. Can't see ear tufts with that backdrop, but bobber tufts are subtle regardless. My gut says an off coloured bobcat, though a domestic/bobcat hybrid is a long shot possibility, though I doubt it in this case. .

It is a Bobcat. I mounted several of them that color when I had my taxidermy business

Region 3? Looks like bobcat. Possibly a house cat who got into and ate his/her owners steroids who's then said owner very angrily cut off his/her cats tail to a nub for punishment... but my guess is more likely bobcat.

It's fairly common for bobcats to have faint spots. When this happens, the spots that are there will be more prominent on their front legs. Can see them if you look close in this picture.

Bobcat IMO
