Yes you are right saying there is no shortage I figure this bear in the video was about a few inches over 6 feet for you new hunters this video shows you all on what a decent BB looks like in the wood when you are after a decent size BB.

That's a very nice looking bear Wayne! Might be tough to find a bigger color phase bear. How is the elk hunting going?
Good luck out there.

Hi kenny nice to hear from you the elk deer bear hunting is good,,I am a conservative hunter at my age I have shot enough elk and deer over my years of hunting so I just keep looking and waiting for Mr big and having fun in god's land if I don't get the deer or bull elk or bear of my dreams so be it ,,I love being in god's land it's my life my love for nature and the good living in the outdoors ,,and you I hope all is well with you and family good luck with your hunts this year..

Hey Wayne, You may already be aware of this, but they have a really slick mount that you can attach to a plaque. It works really well. I bought one when I did a Euro on my nephew's mule deer. https://www.skullhooker.com/product/little-hooker/. By the way, congrats on a productive season!

Was about to suggest Skullhooker, but Seeker already took care of that. Had a chance to check some out at Cabela's down in US when the Shockey's were there. Pretty cool.

You can laugh as much as you want seeing me with velcro runners on I have been wearing them now for over 30 years I wear them when I can and makes for a quit stalkin on animals sometimes I kick them off to be even quieter when I stalk an animal there almost as quiet as moccasins,,every year I get a decent WT buck so I have to be doing something right ,,LOL..

All is completed on my 2016 years hunt all clips are there as for the pictures as my hunting year unfolded believe me I had my aches and pains my ups and downs as the year unfolded

Just one little note I was filming the two bucks near the end of my video clips for my years hunt I noticed that Mr big was in that one clip he is standing on the right side of that big larch
tree you can see him at the beginning of the clip he moved his head..

If you go back onto that part you can see his right side of the antlers LOL I did not even know he was there when I was filming the other two
bucks I put the video clip onto my computer and that when I noticed Mr big LOL..

Every morning at 4:30am when Im riding the bus to work in northern alberta I pass the time thumbing threw the forum. Threads like this one are truely inspiring and motivate a young buck like myself to keep on hammering down so that one day I can live "the dream" too. Thank you for sharing your season.
