Spotted this guy today from about a kilometer and a half and got lucky enough to stalk within 60 yards to snap some pics. Figured I should share since there's a lot of goat fans on this site.

I walked in with the wind in my face and sat down to take the pics. He knew I was there - kept sniffing the air but I'm not sure he saw me. Started him pretty good when I stood up after 10 minutes of watching him - although he didn't take off without giving me a couple glances over his shoulder.

Beautiful pics man. Nikon?
I'm on the fence between getting something nice and light with optical zoom, or just a better lense for my D300. With the battery package and a zoom lens it's going to be even more of a pig to carry than it already is.
