Pointers for deer in region 6?

New to hunting deer, but am stuck in the Terrace/Nass area. Any Ideas out there? It seems to be all Bear, Goats and Moose (if you are lucky on the draw).

Deer are around but it's so damn thick here. I almost hit 3 deer near Kalum lake with my truck heading out sledding one morning. their were a bunch one morning at the rosswood community grounds when the guys were setting up the local archery shoot also. have seen them around red sands also.
Could try the new northwest transmission power line going past Kalum lake and up north maybe they will be feeding on the grasses. No honey holes so to speak. I have some spots on the skeena I see lots of tracks but no luck yet.
Towards Rupert could be an idea also.

I know theres some deer in and around the Bulkley valley (telkwa ish). Also saw a picture of a MONSTER old buck in the Houston area. He was within city limits in a posted field but they gotta be there somewhere.
