Daughter got her first deer yesterday. One of the coolest days of my life. She cancelled my tag but.... I say it was well worth it !!!

Super cool! Congrats to her. If it were me, I'd want to close the loop by doing something awesome with the meat! Do the absolute best job you can frying up the tenderloins in the way that you think she'll best like them, and teach her that it sucks to take another animal's life, but we do it because the product is simply untouchable with anything you can buy.

Thanks everyone. She is pretty excited today as we will pick up her deer from Gary's Deli her in Kamloops. She turned the whole thing into pepperoni.... her favorite treat. Whitetail here we come !!! Made her a Keychain out of the casing.... she sure liked that.
