Hello all,
for you guys using Wall Tents. Do you use Spark arrestors? At Top Cap of Pipe ? Out of Top of stove then into Pipe ?

How do you set yours up ?

Thanks in advance ...

Yes we have one on the top of the pipe, used to use chicken wire wrapped up on top, but that quickly "gummed" up, then we used nothing at all and found it wasn't safe,
so we switched to the rotating weather vane style and it works great.

Ha, yup, we tried wire screen as well - for two or three days 'till the creosote sealed it off in the middle of the night and smoked us out of the tent for 1/2 an hour. Just use a pretty tall pipe now with a homebuilt cap

I use the cap/spark arrestor that came with the stove pipe kit ..... to those that are having creosote problems ... try burning DRY wood and the "trick " of stacking green alder or the like is dangerous

Just a "T" as a cap on mine. Never had any issues.
