Hey sheep guys/gals. With the season drawing near and all the talk about aging and judging sheep I thought this would be as good a place as any to practice. Here are a couple of my pics, and I will state the ages later. Make your guesses! Feel free to post some of your own pics, practice makes perfect. (click the thumbs to enlarge).

Here my guesses.

#1 = 9 - I would say 10 but around year 4-6 it has that one ring really close to the other. one of them I am discounting as false or the ram had a hardcore winter which would make him 10.

#2. = 9 - 9 1/2

#3. = I want to say 9 or 10.. he has really rough bases, broomed, nice ram.

#4. Can't really tell... picture has too much glare on his horns and far away...

Great pics! All happy clients for sure. That last guy looked you were in some steep rugged sh!t. Someone mentioned in another thread to err lighter on age by at least a year just to give yourself a cushion. It's a good idea, when the bases get really rough like that it's almost impossible to tell without holding the horns in your hand.

I'll bite.
I've seen a couple of 14 yr old Dall's, with tips. But I can only see 10 on this one, if some are infact false. Need some light on the situation to be sure. Dall's do age gracefully !
