Hopefully you have better luck finding some velvet than I am in central BC. All the bucks I'm seeing already have their velvet shed. I'm accustomed to seeing bucks with fuzzy antlers until the third week of September, not opening day of bow season. Maybe all the rain has washed the velvet off! Good luck this season!
