Never guess what we found at a GPS's 8000ft, don't know how they got it up there, maybe helicopter.

These were spotted just to the left of the peak

Base camp, had about a 6 - 6.5 ft foot grizz come into camp on our last night in, made things interesting, he was walking up a game trail and ran when I confronted him.

'Inspiration' by Brambles. Good food for the brain.
A guess about the fencing - maybe leftover from a GBear DNA collection plot ? Just disgusting garbage at this point.

Have done a few highcountry hunts in the Cariboos in Region 5 and seen snow like that and deeper Aug 31. The highcountry is always unpredictable. Probably one of the reasons it's one of the most under utilized hunted terrains in BC.

Ya I hear the Coq got nailed so this place should have too, I wonder if the snow will kill the vegitation like a fall frost will?

No kidding, bad news with this snow.

Dont think everywhere got hit, but many areas did.

I dont know if it is as bad as a hard frost
