I have high hopes for this spot, pretty brutal climb in or out of this spot, hate to have too do it with a heavy load on but it really looks good to me even though its north facing, seen a really wide buck heading up here when spring bear hunting last year, this place is really deceiving the brown grass on the right hand side is actually 800 yards from me:eek: Before I rangefound it I thought it would be 450 ish...oops

Now you ask whats on the other side of those mountains, well, we did it, and here it is.

I think north facing side is okay for deer. I have a spot looks pretty much like yours.

Brambles, are you going for cameraman for BC Outdoors those are some great looking pics you've posted. Good looking game country too. I expect to see photos in a few months of what you've packed out of there.8)

Sweet pics, hombre! That first area looks familiar and bucky, but those others are some big rocks... any billies? Any elk sign in the valley?

Hmmm... 'buddies' camping under the stars, looking at the pretty scenery... that isn't near Brokeback Mtn. is it?

Didn't see any goats here, was a quick trip, light and fast, did see some elk sign and a cow elk but, much much more moose sign in the valley bottom

Nice pictures, Brambles. I'm sure that is why a lot of us go to the back country, for backdrops like that.
